A bit about me
Tim Accurso is originally from Glen Lyon, Pennsylvania, and moved to Santa Barbara in the fall of 2018. Having always been passionate about singing, piano, and collaboration, Tim found his home in choir, musical theater, and eventually opera throughout high school and into college.
Tim holds degrees in Vocal and Piano Performance and Vocal Coaching and Accompanying. Professionally, Tim has worked mostly in the opera industry as a coach and pianist. Now his career is more varied as he conducts, teaches, performs, and tries to positively contribute to the arts scene in Santa Barbara.
Tim is the Artistic Director for the Santa Barbara Gay Men’s Chorus, adjunct faculty at Santa Barbara City College, Music Director for Out of the Box Theatre Company, while performing and teaching privately as well.
Tim lives in Santa Barbara with his husband, Ediben, and their three dogs.
